Nicole Marie Ianniello

I'm a curator, connector, culturalist, consultant, and creator.

Of course, I've also done things that don't begin with a "C" such as fashion buying, freelance writing, and brand strategy—but wherever my diverse career has taken me, my work has always been centered around connecting people to beauty, whether that’s been through immersive experiences, future-forward fashion, pioneering design, or one-of-a-kind art.

I went to my first art show in the renowned Soho art district in New York when I was 15. Here, I was fortunate enough to attend an exhibition by the late great, Peter Beard. I'll never forget being mesmerized by his visceral storytelling: from supermodels shot with collaged snakeskin to bloodstains with writing. Needless to say, the exhibition made an indelible mark on my teenage mind.

My passion for all things beauty-related led me to complete a degree in Fashion Merchandising and Fashion Design from the Parsons School of Design in New York and Paris. Thereafter, I began a decade-long career working with high-end boutiques as an independent wholesale consultant and buyer for brands like Anna Sui, Kelly Wearstler, Ulla Johnson, and Isabel Marant.

After gaining invaluable experience in the fashion industry, I was accepted to the prestigious Sotheby's Institute of Art for their Masters in Art Business program. While in the program, I curated an exhibition in partnership with Surf Rider Foundation to raise awareness around the global warming crisis. Depending on your belief system, it's either a lucky coincidence or a circular twist of fate that many of the photographers exhibiting had worked with my original inspiration, Peter Beard.

Despite my experience and immense appreciation for galleries, the reality is that they can be intimidating and inaccessible for many. My belief is that art is created to be shared. With this in mind, upon completing my Master's degree, I pivoted my career to focus on collaborating with commercial property developers, residential property managers, and private clients to curate spaces where people can live, work, play, and connect to groundbreaking art in a meaningful way.

I do this by collaborating with hotels, apartment buildings, condos, and individuals, leveraging my expansive network of photographers, mixed-media artists, and painters to source dynamic, purpose-driven work that brings beauty and meaning to lobbies, offices, and public spaces in New York and Miami.

Having lived in New York for over 20 years and immersed myself in the fashion industry for over a decade, I have established an extensive network throughout the global creative arena. This has afforded me an in-depth understanding of the ever-evolving scene and allowed me to draw on my network for one-of-a-kind pieces that elevate, engage, and energize accessible spaces where everyone can share in the experience of art.
